Terms of Service

By accessing or using ResumeRaccoon (the “Service”), operated by Piotr Zawadka, based in Poland (“we,” “us,” “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.

ResumeRaccoon is an online tool that allows users to create, customize, save, and export professional resumes as PDF documents, using a selection of templates and fonts. Some features (such as PDF downloads) require a paid plan, as described in Section 5.

To use most features of the Service, you must create an account, either via email/password or through a third-party provider (Google or Facebook). You are responsible for providing accurate information, maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, and all activity under your account.

You must notify us immediately at contact@resume-raccoon.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

You retain all ownership rights to the resume content you create using the Service (“Your Content”). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information you include in your resume.

5.1 Plans offered

• Lifetime Unlock — a one-time payment that grants unlimited PDF downloads permanently.
• Monthly Subscription — a recurring monthly payment that grants unlimited PDF downloads for as long as the subscription remains active.

Current prices are displayed at checkout and may vary by region due to local taxes (VAT/sales tax), calculated automatically based on your location.

5.2 Payment processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our own servers.

5.3 Subscription renewal and cancellation

Monthly subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5.4 Refunds

Purchases are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable consumer protection law, or in cases of proven billing error or duplicate charge. To request a refund, contact us at contact@resume-raccoon.com.

You agree not to use the Service for unlawful purposes, attempt unauthorized access to other accounts, interfere with the Service, reverse-engineer or scrape it beyond normal use, or upload malicious code or infringing content.

The Service itself — including its design, templates, code, logos, and branding (“ResumeRaccoon” and the raccoon logo) — is owned by Piotr Zawadka and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or for any other reason with reasonable notice, except where immediate termination is necessary to protect the Service or other users.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not review, endorse, or take responsibility for the accuracy of resume content you create, and we are not responsible for any employment outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Piotr Zawadka shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise. If you are a consumer residing in the EU, you may bring proceedings in the courts of your own country of residence, and use the EU’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting a notice on the Service or emailing you.
